Prayer Ministry

At Middleburg UMC we believe that prayer works. We have an active Prayer Ministry divided into different areas.

Monday Morning Prayer Group

Started by the United Methodist Men, this group is open to all who would like to come and prayer for our church and community, both men and women. Coffee is always served. The meet every Monday morning at 6:30 AM in the Family Life Center.

Prayer Sanctuary
The Historic Chapel is open from 9 AM - 4 PM to anyone as a Prayer Sanctuary. Volunteers are available as prayer partners on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 AM - Noon.

Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain is made up of men and women who are dedicated to praying for the needs of others. They take prayer requests and pass them along to other members by phone. If you would like to be a part of this ministry, contact the church office to find out how you can join.

If you have a prayer concern please call our church office at (904)282-5589 and let them know. They will be happy to contact the Prayer Chain and send the request down the "line", phone line that is.
