Community CareJohn Wesley believed that repentance was always accompanied by works of mercy. Here at MUMC we continue this tradition by serving those in our community through different ministries. Some are available during the entire year, while others are special events. As we grow we continue to look for new ways to put our faith into action.
Food Bridge

Open every Thursday and Saturday from 10 AM to Noon. People within the community may come and “shop” the Budington Boutique for anything from socks and shoes to shirts and pants. There is also a selection of children and infant items. $1 donation per bag. Opportunities to serve: Donating clean, like-new clothes; working during the hours of operation; help in sorting clothes and putting them up. Thanksgiving Baskets
Each year, members of MUMC collect their change the month prior to Thanksgiving. Money from these “Love Loaves” is used to fund baskets of food put together and delivered to families in our community who are in need. Everything needed to have a healthy, Thanksgiving meal is included.
